1. Introduction

 

Welcome to FleetFit Installations. By requesting a quote, booking work, or proceeding with any installation, you agree to the following Terms & Policies.


These terms ensure clarity, protect both parties, and maintain the highest standard of service.


 

 

2. Services Provided

 

FleetFit Installations specialises in:

  • Vehicle lighting systems (amber, blue and specialist applications)
  • Electrical installations and custom wiring
  • Emergency & commercial vehicle conversions
  • Decommissioning of emergency vehicles
  • Custom mounting solutions (including 3D printed components)

All work is carried out using professional-grade components suitable for the intended use.

 

 


3. Quotations & Acceptance

  • All quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise
  • Quotes are based on the information provided at the time
  • Any changes, additional work, or unforeseen requirements may result in revised costs
  • Acceptance of a quote (written, verbal, or by proceeding with work) forms a binding agreement


4. Payments (Summary)

  • All equipment must be paid in full prior to installation
  • Payment for equipment is required a minimum of 10 working days before the booked installation date
  • Installation labour terms may vary and will be outlined separately

5. Installation & Workmanship

  • All installations are carried out to a high professional standard
  • Vehicles must be presented in a suitable and safe condition for work
  • FleetFit is not responsible for:
    • Pre-existing faults
    • Hidden wiring issues
    • Manufacturer defects


We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if:

  • The vehicle is unsafe
  • The requested installation is non-compliant or poses a risk


6. Product Use & Compliance

  • Certain equipment (e.g. blue/red emergency lighting) is restricted under UK law
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure legal use of all installed equipment
  • FleetFit Installations accepts no liability for misuse after installation

Where applicable, products may comply with:

  • ECE R65 (warning lighting)
  • ECE R10 (EMC compliance)

 

 

 

7. Warranty

 

All warranty terms are outlined in our Warranty Policy.

8. Bookings & Cancellations

 

All booking terms, deposits, cancellations, and rescheduling conditions are outlined in our Booking Policy.

Please refer to this document prior to confirming any booking.

 

9. Liability

FleetFit Installations is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Loss of earnings or business interruption
  • Issues arising from misuse of installed systems

Liability is limited to:

  • The value of the work carried out


 

 

 

10. Vehicle Condition & Responsibility

Customers must ensure:

 

 

  • The vehicle is roadworthy and safe to work on
  • The vehicle is insured

Please remove personal belongings prior to installation.

FleetFit is not responsible for loss or damage to items left in the vehicle.

All data handling, storage, and privacy practices are outlined in our GDPR & Privacy Policy.

12. Website Use

 

By using our website, you agree:


  • Not to misuse or attempt to compromise the site
